About the Journal

About VetMedGuide

Practical research, protocols, and reviews for working veterinarians — written by clinicians, technicians, and analysts on the inside of the practice.

VetMedGuide is a working journal for veterinary professionals. We publish clinical protocols, equipment reviews, claims analysis, and practice-management research — all drawn from the operational detail of first-opinion clinics rather than the marketing material of vendors. Established 2024.

What we cover

Five categories, mapped to the working life of a clinic:

  • Pharmaceuticals — drug protocols, switching guidance, monitoring schedules.
  • Equipment — head-to-head reviews, ROI analysis, SOPs.
  • Diagnostics — imaging, chemistry, decision support.
  • Insurance — claims operations, denial analysis, direct-pay workflows.
  • Practice management — HR, finance, retention, owner economics.

Editorial standard

Every article is written by a named author with a working stake in the topic. We do not publish vendor-funded reviews, and we do not accept advertising. Articles are built from official labels, professional guidelines, and peer-reviewed sources — never from competitor summaries.

Audience

We write for veterinarians, credentialed technicians, practice managers, and clinic owners. We assume a working knowledge of the vocabulary and the workflow.
